Deputies apprehend fugitive

NORMAN — Cleveland County sheriff’s deputies apprehended a fugitive last week who was reported to be the highest ranking member of the Aryan Brotherhood who was not incarcerated.

Oklahoma City police notified CCSO deputies that Ace Hailey, 46, was possibly staying in the areas of 140th Street and Maguire Road in southern Cleveland County. Police reported that Hailey was wanted on aggravated assault and battery, robbery and kidnapping warrants.

Deputies determined where Hailey was residing and visited the home. After a 30-minute standoff, Hailey surrendered without incident. He was taken to the Cleveland County Detention Center and later released to Oklahoma County sheriff’s deputies.
