Bank robbery suspect apprehended

NORMAN — A Moore man was arrested Friday on a complaint of robbery of the Weokie Federal Credit Union in Oklahoma City.

Dwight Earl Jordan, 33, allegedly robbed the bank, located at 7600 S. Pennsylvania Ave., around 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Jordan was taken into custody by Cleveland County Sheriff’s Deputies on unrelated charges around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

Jordan was taken into custody by FBI agents at the Cleveland County jail around 3:30 p.m. Friday on a federal bank robbery complaint.

He was transported to the Grady County Jail, where he will be held pending an initial appearance in federal court.

The Oklahoma City Police Department and the FBI were involved in the investigation.
