Man’s funeral scheduled

NORMAN — A funeral has been set for a man whose body was found in Cleveland County last year after a recent positive identification.

Services for Pascual Salazar, 36, of Oklahoma City, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Little Flower Church, 1125 S. Walker Ave. in Oklahoma City.

Cleveland County Sheriff Joe Lester said the state medical examiner’s office identified Salazar’s body last week by comparing DNA from Salazar’s family members.

Lester said the cause of death has not been determined, but the case is being investigated as a homicide.

Salazar was last seen on May 23, 2012, in southeastern Oklahoma City and was reported missing three days later. The body was found July 10, 2012, in eastern Cleveland County.
