Stolen puppy found

NORMAN — Cleveland County sheriff’s detectives have recovered a Shih Tzu puppy that was reported stolen from a business in December.

The 6-week-old female was taken Dec. 17 from the Puppy Love Kennels, 9151 U.S. Highway 77 in Noble. Investigators received an anonymous call earlier this week, which led to the identification of a suspect.

The dog was found and returned to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday. It was in good health. The puppy has been returned to its owner.

Detectives continue to investigate the case. At this point, charges are pending against the suspect. No further information will be released about the suspect at this time.
