Woman hospitalized after Highway 39 crash

NORMAN — A woman injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 39, west of Purcell on Wednesday night, is in the OU Medical Center.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol initial reports indicated the woman had died.

Dispatch received the call at 9:11 p.m. of a female pinned under a vehicle that rolled over on Highway 39 in-between Bryant Street and Ladd Avenue.

The female was medi-flighted from the scene. EMSStat also transported a 31-year-old male from the scene, according to reports.

Two children were also in the vehicle, responders reported. Neither of the children were transported to the hospital.
