NORMAN — Daryle Voss takes the lead
in Ardmore
Daryle Voss has been named president of Mercy Hospital Ardmore. Voss joins Mercy from Norman Regional Health System, where he served as vice president and chief administrative officer for HealthPlex Hospital and Moore Medical Center. He will begin his work with Mercy on March 4.
“Daryle brings 20 years of health care experience to Ardmore with a proven track record of helping rural health care facilities reach their full potential,” said Di Smalley, regional president of Mercy Oklahoma communities. “His unique skill sets are perfect to lead our southern Oklahoma team.”
Voss’ experience includes operational roles at both rural health facilities as well as acute care hospitals. He has been the administrative leader in a wide variety of patient care services as well as ancillary services, such as food and nutrition. He has worked in Texas and Oklahoma during his health care career.
Voss’ family, which includes his wife, Sherri, daughters Ryan, 18, and Dylan, 7, and son, Grant, 13, are looking forward to relocating to the Ardmore community in early summer at the conclusion of this school year.
“My family and I are extremely excited about joining the Ardmore community and the Mercy family,” Voss said. “As a native Oklahoman, Ardmore has all the components of what makes our state so great.”
Voss earned a master’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University and a bachelor’s from University of Oklahoma.
He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He likes to be involved in the community, having served with the United Way, Chamber of Commerce and many other organizations.
“We are very pleased that Mr. Voss accepted the invitation to lead Mercy Hospital Ardmore as president,” said Clayton Lodes, chairman of the board for Mercy Hospital Ardmore. “His leadership experience and genuine personality make him a perfect fit for Mercy and the Ardmore community.”
Randy Jobe, who has been serving as interim president, will continue serving as vice president of clinic operations for southern Oklahoma.
