Police search for robbery suspects

NORMAN — Three Moore schools were put on lockdown as Moore, Norman and Oklahoma City police were searching for two armed robbery suspects Thursday morning.

The search was concentrated between Santa Fe and Western along Southwest 19th Street. The two men, described as black males, are believed to have robbed an IBC Bank branch on Southwest 19th Street.

SouthMoore, Plaza Towers and Briarwood elementary schools were put on lockdown until shortly before 3 p.m. Police continued the search Thursday afternoon at the Fairways Apartments and The Greens in Moore.

Officials called off the search after five hours.
