NORMAN — The city of Norman will release compost from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
There is no charge for residents who load the compost themselves.
For those who request the city to load the compost, the cost is $10 per scoop — 3 cubic yards, or approximately 2,000 pounds.
The compost may be picked up at the Norman Compost Facility, which is south of State Highway 9 between Jenkins and Chautauqua at 398 Bratcher Miner Road.
For more information, call the compost facility at 292-9725 or the sanitation division at 329-1023.
