All about consistency
The Sprint Cup Series hasn't always been all about winning. It's also about consistency. A driver doesn't necessarily have to always run great, but he needs to avoid running bad and finishing way back in the pack.

Take me back to Darlington ...
As a guy who grew up on a street called Darlington, I was always a little partial to the racetrack of the same name. And this time of year, it's sad to see the NASCAR world isn't there.
For years, the series' annual Labor Day weekend event was the Southern 500, conducted at Darlington Raceway, otherwise known as "The Track Too Tough to Tame.

Stewart holds in top 5 going to Talladega
Few would question Tony Stewart’s record to this point in his career. But with this season’s jump to co-ownership of a team while still driving, there were more than a few folks wondering what 2009 might bring.
It’s just been more of the same. Spurred on by three straight top-four finishes, Stewart is fourth in Sprint Cup points going into this weekend’s run at Talladega.
