Taylor joins Grambling State Tigers

Norman —

Senior Norman High goal Keeper Jordan Taylor recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Grambling State University. Taylor had offers from the University of Tampa, Jackson State University, East Central Oklahoma, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and Southwestern Oklahoma University.

Taylor was a three-year starter for NHS, made all conference in 2008 and 2009 and was all-district in 2009. She also has played for the Norman Soccer Club Fury Red, the North OKC United Football Club and the Oklahoma Olympic Development team.

The Tigers finished 2009 with a 10-7 record and was 4-1 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Taylor will have a chance to see action early. Keeper Cherie Silasis is graduating, leaving a spot open in goal.
