Kennedy

March 7 was "Dress for Success Day" at Kennedy. Everyone was encouraged to dress up and take pride in their work.

Third, fourth and fifth grade students of the week honored March 7 were Michael Ahedor, McKenzi Clark, Corban Cole, Shelby Nealy, Chase Hicks, Max Bratcher, Rojesh Shakya, Collin Ermeling and Jeralyn Magno. Principal's award winners were Megan Mohr and Michael Bennet.

Community workers representing many different careers shared their job experiences with second graders during their Career Week. Visitors included a sticker maker from Twister Designs and Signs, a conductor, meteorology graduate students, volleyball and wrestling coaches, printer and a teacher, all from the University of Oklahoma, a graphic artist from Hard Edge Design, the president from BancFirst, a Norman police officer, Norman ambulance drivers and firefighters, a firefighter from Oklahoma City, a Norman Transcript reporter, a home business owner, a banker from Republic Bank, the head baker from Fancy That, a Marc Heitz car salesman and auto technician, State Representative Wallace Collins, Irving Middle School's band director, a custodian from Kennedy, Kennedy's principal and Norman Public Schools' superintendent. Second-graders and teachers want to thank these people for donating their time to the event.
