Spring break is just hours away for children who attend public school in Cleveland and McClain counties.
Next week, schools in the area will recess for the week to give students and teachers a break.
Those in Norman Public Schools, Little Axe Public Schools, Robin Hill Public School, Noble Public Schools and Purcell Public Schools will be out of school Monday through March 21, according to school officials. Classes will resume March 24.
A representative from the Blanchard Public Schools administration said the school will close for spring break next week. Students will return to school March 25.

Bond projects for Norman Public Schools
Norman voters will determine whether to approve a nearly $110 million bond issue Dec. 8. The bonds will provide revenues for the following Norman Public Schools projects:

NPS board approves resolution for $109M school bond election
In December, Norman Public Schools will ask voters to approve a multi-year bond issue that allows for $109,760,000 worth of capital improvement projects to take place within the district.
Norman Public Schools Board of Education approved a resolution calling for the election at a special meeting held Monday afternoon. - Whittier Honor Rolls Fourth Quarter Honor Rolls for Whittier Middle School.
