NORMAN — St. Michael’s offers Lenten study

Bishop Robert Moody will lead a discussion group each Sunday morning throughout Lent from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 1601 W. Imhoff Road.

The discussions will focus on “The Letters To The Seven Churches” found in Revelations, chapters 2 and 3.

West Wind to host Dance Meditation

Dance Meditation, a moving form of mediation, will begin at 7 tonight at the West Wind Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 1309 W. Boyd St. A $5 donation is requested for admission.

Meditative Dance combines the freedom of dance with the benefits of mindful meditation. Music will be a medley of Middle Eastern, African, Celtic and Soul. No experience is necessary, all levels welcome. Children 12 and older are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

“It’s easy and fun,” said Susan Cogan event organizer. “Dance and meditation together are an excellent stress reducer and great exercise. A perfect way to end the week.”

For more information, call Cogan at 226-9712 or email westwnduuc@gmail.com.
