Sunday morning’s worship will feature a sermon in the ongoing series “The Song Of The Sheep,” from Psalm 23. Pastor Clark will study Psalm 23:3 on the subject, “A Committed Song.” The evening service, will be highlighted by a message from Ephesians 6;16, “Standing In The Armor: The Shield Of Faith.”

The Disciple’s Stance Class, a three week study of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), will meet for its second session at 9:30 a.m. in the the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday morning, the Rev. Todd Dole will preach from John 8:12, “Light of the World.” Sunday evening, Dole will preach from 1 Peter 3:13-17, “Defending Our Faith.”
McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church
Sunday will continue the sermon series “Punching Holes in the Darkness: A Series on Hurts, Hang-Ups and Healing.” The Rev. Linda Harker (sanctuary services) and the Rev. Randy Wade (Lifeline Fenn Hall) will preach a sermon titled “Grief,” from Psalm 27:1-9 and Jeremiah 8:18-21a.

Sunday, the Rev. Tracy Evans’ message will be “Members of the Wedding Party” based on John 2:1-11.

Sunday, Dr. Mitch Randall will bring the message “Plane, Trains and Automobiles,” from John 1:19-23. Rachael Ridenour will play “Cello Suite No. 3 in C Major, BWV 109 1. Prelude,” by J.S. Bach. The children will have a time with Randall as they discover together what is inside the mystery bag.

Sunday, Mark Woody’s sermon topic will be “How To Fall Away From Christ.”

Sunday, Senior Pastor Ronnie W. Rogers will speak on “Ministry That Matters.” Sunday evening, he will speak on “The Practice of the Old Covenant.”
Trinity Lutheran Church (LC-MS)
For the annual Life Sunday and the second Sunday after the Epiphany, the sermon by Pastor David Nehrenz will be titled, “Jesus’ Glory — God’s Gift of Life, Marriage and the Family,” based on John 2:1-11. The work of Lutherans for Life will be highlighted. At 2 p.m. will be the viewing of the movie “October Baby,” affirming the sanctity of all God-given life.

“When is the New Heaven and the New Earth Getting here?” is the title of the sermon being given by the Rev. Warren Jensen.

Sunday, Dr. James Taylor will speak on “Lessons From Solomon” titled “A Lesson About Success,” from 1 Kings 2:1-4.
University Lutheran Church and Student Center (ELCA)
Chris Lee, ULCSC’s director of Chistian Education, will use John 2:1-11, the wedding at Cana in which Christ’s power is made known in the changing water to wine, as his sermon theme.

Senior Pastor Fred Sellers plans to preach a sermon titled “The Bema Judgement Seat of Christ,” from 2 Corinthians 5:10 at the afternoon service on Sunday.
