House votes to condemn Bah?'? persecution

A recent resolution passed by the U.S. House of Representatives condemns the Iranian government's persecution of members of the Bah?'? Faith

The House passed HR 175 by a 407-2 vote Oct. 22. The statement expresses concern for the 300,000 members of the Bah?'? Faith, the largest minority religious group in Iran, "who continue to bear unrelenting persecution by the Iranian government in every facet of life," according to a release sent out by the Bah?'?s of Norman.

The Voice of America as well as many other international media have joined the worldwide outcry against the persecutions, which range from denying Bah?'?s access to universities, dismissing them from jobs, withholding pensions, burning of homes, and outright murder and "disappearances," the release said.
