"Transformed By Thanksgiving" is the theme of Sunday morning's message. Pastor R.L. Clark will take the text from 1 Timothy 4:4-5, speaking on the power of Thanksgiving to make a life different. The evening service will be highlighted with a program by the youth of the church and Youth Pastor Daniel Conditt will bring the evening sermon.

Sunday, the church will celebrate Thanksgiving with a catered breakfast in the Heritage Room of the Oklahoma Memorial Union. Following the breakfast, Lead Pastor Daniel Kitchel will preach from 1 Samuel 24 and 26. The title of the sermon is "Revenge." John Shepherd and Alyssa McReynolds will lead the church in song and praise.

Sunday, Dr. Wade Smith will bring the sermon "A Life of Thanksgiving" at the Classic Blend and LifeSong services. The service of Hope and the Lord's Supper will be Sunday evening.

The sermon is "The Magic Words," from Colossians 3:12-17 with the Rev. David Spain preaching at the morning services. The Logos Children's Choir will join with the Chancel Choir to sing the anthem at the second morning service.

Sunday, subject will be "Soul and Body." The Golden Text from the King James Bible, is Isaiah 60:19: "the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory." The church also will have a Thanksgiving service 10 a.m. Thursday. Golden Text from the King James Bible will be Psalms 147:7 (to ; ) "Sing unto the Lord with Thanksgiving."
First Presbyterian Church
On Christ the King/Pledge Dedication Sunday, the Dr. Bob Rice will preach a sermon "Rich Toward God," Luke 12:13-21 in the morning services. The annual Thanksgiving celebration will begin with the evening Vespers led by the Rev. Pam Normile. The congregational Thanksgiving dinner will be in Alexander Hall after the service.
