Norman — The dedication date for the Apostle Build, a Habitat for Humanity project being aided by a number of local churches, has been delayed three weeks, pushed back to 2 p.m. April 11.
The delay is allowing for the final touches to be put on the house by volunteers during work days.
The project is building a home for a Norman couple and their 5-year-old son. The parents each are wheelchair users and have been living in a rental home that does not accommodate their special needs.
Local churches participating in the project are NorthHaven Church, First Baptist Church, Generations Church, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, First Christian Church and McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church.
