NORMAN — ULCSC to kickoff 50th
anniversary celebration
University Lutheran Church and Student Center, 914 Elm Ave., will celebrate its 50th year of founding with a series of events beginning this week which culminate with a Jubilee Celebration Weekend scheduled for June 7-9.
The church will gather at 5:30 p.m. Saturday for a meal and program featuring charter members’ who will share recollections of the first steps of the congregation.

Church to host Taizé services, Labyrinth walk
St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church, 1801 W. Brooks St., will host Taize Services on Thursdays during Lent at 7 p.m.
The first service will be Thursday and continue until March 21, the week before Holy Week.
St. Stephen’s also will host a Labyrinth walk from noon to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, also in the Community Hall. The Santa Rosa labyrinth allows individuals to breathe, relax, pray and sing as they connect more deeply with God.
