Sunday, Senior Minister Rusty Tugman will continue the “Encounters with Jesus” sermon series with the lesson “From Skepticism to Sureness.”
Concord Missionary Baptist Church
2 Timothy 4:8 will be the study of the morning message. Pastor Clark will lead in the study under the subject “The Righteous Judge.” The evening service will continue the study of Ephesians 5:25-33 on the subject, “The Elevation Of Submission.”

Sunday is the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost in Tone 6/Eothenon 1. The Orthros Gospel is from Saint Matthew 28:16 to end. The Divine Liturgy Epistle is from Saint Paul’s second Letter to the Corinthians 4:6-15 and the Gospel is from Saint Luke10: 25-37.

“Is it Over? Or is it Beginning?” is the subject of the reflection to be shared by the Rev. Warren Jensen at the morning worship. The scripture text will be found in the passage from Matthew 6:24-34.

Sunday, Deacon and retired Colonel Danny Marler will share his testimony. The theme will be “Honoring Our Veterans.” UCC members that served in any branch of the military will be featured in a book with pictures and information of their time in the military.
