Norman — Youth group seeks help for service project

The Altared Life Youth Group at Goodrich Memorial United Methodist Church is looking for a few good supporters.

The group has started plans for its yearly service project, S.T.R.I.V.E., which stands for Students Turning Responsibility Into Valuable Experience.

It is a community service project in which the youth spend a weekend donating their time in Norman. Past projects have included cleaning city parks or helping organizations like East Main Place.

The group seeks donations from individuals and businesses in the community to help pay for supplies needed for the project, as well as other youth mission activities.

For more information, call Freda Storm or Melissa Duncan at the church at 321-0975.
