Oklahoma's jumped five spots in the rankings thanks to a season-opening victory over Central Oklahoma and a dominant performance in winning their 11th straight Brockport/Oklahoma Gold Classic.
But things will get tougher at 2 p.m. today when the 12th-ranked Sooners host No. 20 Arizona State at the Howard McCasland Field House.
"This match is going to be a great test for our team," OU coach Jack Spates said. "I don't think anybody thought we would do as well as we did last weekend in Brockport, but our guys fought and wrestled hard and we earned it. Our guys are looking forward to getting back on the mat to face a very talented Arizona State team."
The Sun Devils boast two All-Americans on their roster in Anthony Robles at 125 pound (finished fourth at 2009 NCAAs) and Chris Drouin at 141 (placed sixth).
It's the second of two in-state duals for Arizona State. It lost 21-9 to Oklahoma State Saturday.
The Sooners will be trying to extend Spates' 17-run of November success.
