Oklahoma linebacker Austin Box was cited for outraging public decency early Saturday morning by the Norman Police Department.
Box, who will be a redshirt sophomore next season, was seen urinating outside a Norman restaurant at 759 Asp Ave by Norman police at 1:55 a.m. Saturday. Box was allowed to sign a citation and was released.
Box played in 10 games last season and made 36 tackles. He made five starts at middle linebacker midway through the season, but was slowed by a late-season knee injury.
The Sooners begin spring practice today. Box will miss spring practice to elbow surgery.
