The number of yards Oklahoma fell short of its highest offensive output last season. The Sooners picked up 677 against Texas, but 690 against Kansas State last season. One of five games last season OU gained at least 600 yards.

The yards by which OU surpassed its previous high offensive output against an FBS opponent this season. It had been 427 yards at UTEP. The Sooners gained 677 Saturday. OU also surpased the 662 it gained against Florida A&M, an FCS program.

The number of consecutive games OU’s leading receiver has been a running back. Tailback Damien Williams caught six passes for 82 yards against Texas Tech. Saturday, it was fullback Trey Millard with 119 yards on five catches.

Oklahoma’s first downs through three quarters Saturday against Texas, followed by Texas’ first downs.

Texas’ third-down conversion rate (2 of 10). It entered the game second in the nation at 58 percent (43 of 74). Also, OU entered allowing a 36 percent conversion rate (22 of 61).
