Open with moment of silence

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

I note your editorial regarding the proposal that our county commissioners begin each session with a prayer. Wonderful.

As a Buddhist, I offer myself to begin a session. I would like it to begin it with a moment of silence or two. Buddha said, “Speak only when silence is not better.”
