Firearms supporters are wrong

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

Columbine, Virginia Tech, Tucson, the Sikh temple, Aurora, Fort Hood, Portland, and now Sandy Hook.

The gun nuts would have us believe that easier access to firearms makes us safer. The evidence is to the contrary.

It is stupid to think that more of the very things used for mass killings in the hands of the irresponsible benefits us.
