Rove fighting resistance from his own party, constituents

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

What in the Sam Hill is going on? Tea partiers and some establishment Republicans alike are attacking Karl Rove.

Has the master mudslinger played his last chip?

Hold on there. I would not count the Price of Prevarication out just yet. Karl is the unwanted uncle in every family who you may not see for weeks, months, or even a year. Then one day you look out on the porch, and like an old raggedy cat, there he is.

The booming political market for character assassination will provide the Rovester with opportunities galore as the next election heats up. The fact that he lost a fortune trying to defeat Obama in the last election will be long since forgotten.
