The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Karl Perry Buettner, 53, of Norman, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012.

A Celebration of Life will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Primrose Funeral Service.

Karl was born Dec. 22, 1958, to Paul V. and Winona Bannister Buettner in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a graduate of Norman High School in 1977.

Karl went to Florida and lived in Miami before moving to Orlando, where he worked maintenance for Walt Disney World for 13 years. He returned to Norman in 2010. He enjoyed camping and fishing.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Dennis Buettner and wife Taska, John Buettner and John Dole, Nicky Lambert and husband Ken and Tammy Muller and husband Gary; nieces Stephanie, Courtney and Lindsey Buettner, Danielle Lambert and Samantha Chain; and nephew Justin Muller.
