NORMAN — Mary Lou Hazlewood, 85, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, in Noble.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at McMahans Funeral chapel in Noble, with interment in Dripping Springs Cemetery. Rev. Jim Terry will officiate.

Mrs. Hazlewood was born to Luther and Thersia (Pallen) Jackson on Feb. 25, 1927, in Ardmore. Mrs. Hazlewood attended school in Ardmore. She and Mr. Jack Hazlewood were united in marriage in 1947 in Ardmore. They had made their home in Noble for more than 20 years. She was a full-time homemaker, raising four children.

She enjoyed gardening, handwork and also was quite a poetry writer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; her siblings; and one grandchild, Elizabeth.

Mrs. Hazlewood is survived by one son, Dannie Hazlewood and wife Sheri; two daughters, Mary Hobbs and husband Don of Noble and Sandy Terry and husband Jim; grandchildren Jeremy and wife Christal, Kenneth and fiancee Heather, Cassandra and husband John and Jarrad and wife Miranda; one great-grandchild, Cooper; and other relatives and friends.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today.

Arrangements are by McMahans Funeral Home.
