Frances Louise Mincey

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Frances Louise Mincey, 63, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, in Norman. 

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle.

She took great pride in her career as a water treatment operator for the city of Norman. In retirement, she enjoyed decorating her home. She liked feeding and watching birds, especially hummingbirds, enjoyed spending long hours in her garden and loved her dogs. Frances was a very good and loyal friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mincey; son, Kevin Henderson; biological father, Francis Hubert O’Neal; and surrogate father, Cleon Henson.  

A very devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter, Sheila Ross and husband Richard; two grandchildren, Kristopher and Nicholas; and surrogate mother, Wilma Henson.

Arrangements are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.
