Steve Allen Shaffer

NORMAN — Steve Allen Shaffer, 61, passed away on Oct. 26, 2012 in Norman. He was born on Dec. 3, 1950 to Jack and Haroldine Shaffer.

Steve retired from Trophy Nissan in Mesquite, Texas after 11 years.

He enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers, Nascar and OU football. He also loved sitting outside and listening to the audio Bible along with Christian music.

Steve is survived by his wife, Karen Shaffer, two children, son Steve Shaffer and wife Robyn, Mandi Schrader and husband Karl, Mother, Haroldine Shaffer. Step daughters, Tressa Silvey and husband Joel, Kendra Augustine and husband Steve. Grandchildren, Mckenzie, Lorelai, Emmalyn and soon to be Liam Shaffer, Sean & Devyn Schrader, Jaden, Kilyn Silvey, Annabelle Augustine. Brothers, Jack Shaffer and wife Kathleen, Bob Shaffer and Ronnie Shaffer.

A host of nieces and nephews and other loving family members. Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 at the Norman IOOF Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, Okla.
