NORMAN — Lawrence Edward Alcott, 74, of Newalla, died in his home following a brief illness Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in the St. Joseph Catholic Church chapel, 421 E. Acres St. in Norman.

Born in Walnut Grove, Mo., Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, W. L. and Geneva Allcock; brothers John Heying and Bill Lawrence; and sisters Dorthy Farrington and Ellene Burros.

He is survived by his three daughters and seven grandchildren, Laurie (son Marcus) and husband John Smith of Newalla, Linda Osborne of Newalla (Payton and Maddison) and Lea and husband Brandon Kennedy (Jenna, Joshua, Jillian and Journey), also of Newalla; brothers JE and wife Billye Lawrence of Springfield, Mo., and Jonathan Alcott of Raleigh, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Arrangements are by Primrose Funeral Service.
