David Wayne Kirkpatrick, 51, died Monday, June 12, in Lexington. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Kirkpatrick was born Dec. 9, 1954, to Laurence Gene and Donna Marie (Huffman) Kirkpatrick in Lubbock, Texas. He was raised and attended school in Lubbock. He was inducted into the United States Army and honorably discharged.
Mr. Kirkpatrick was a truck driver for Donco Trucking and enjoyed leather smithing and martial arts.
He was preceded in death by his parents and uncle James Wesley Kirkpatrick.
Survivors include his stepmother Jean O. Kirkpatrick of Lubbock; brothers Mark Kirkpatrick of North Richland Hills, Texas, Paul "Dugg" Kirkpatrick of Los Angeles and Larry Kirkpatrick of San Antonio; stepbrother Chris Ford of Lubbock; stepsister Linda Hodel of Frisco; and many other relatives and friends.
