Mary Francis Brown, 80, of Norman died Tuesday, Sept. 13, in Norman. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Lilac Hills Cemetery. Primrose Funeral Service in Norman is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Brown was born July 1, 1925. She married Wilbur Jack Blankenship Oct. 6, 1943, in Frederick. William died June 10, 1955. Mary married J.T. Brown Oct. 6, 1955, in Waxahachie, Texas. J.T. died June 10, 1997, in Oklahoma City. She was a retail sales clerk and a homemaker. She was a member of Northside Christian Church in Spring, Texas.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; one brother in World War II; one infant brother; and grandson Robert Sommerwerck.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter Barbara Loper of Norman; sons Ronnie Blankenship and wife Anita of Weatherford and James Donald Brown and wife Sheril of Cypress, Texas; grandchildren Lance and Layne Loper, Eric Blankenship, Amy Parker, Jamie, Kimberley and Brandon Brown and William and Joseph Sommerwerck; and seven great-grandchildren.
