NORMAN — Evanna Ruth (Hunt) Esadooah, 63, of Norman, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, with her family by her side in Norman.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Noble Assembly of God Church, Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens of Oklahoma City. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Primrose Funeral Service. Arrangements are by Primrose Funeral Service.
She was born on Sept. 4, 1949, to Orville D. and Flora Mozelle (Annesley) Hunt in Norman. She was a lifelong resident of Norman attending Norman Public Schools and graduating from Norman High in 1967.
She attended the Baptist Hospital Nursing program and was a member of the last class they offered, earning her degree as an RN. She began her lifelong career in nursing at then-Norman Municipal Hospital. In 1980, she joined a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, working there two years before returning to Norman and, eventually, Norman Regional Hospital.
At Norman Regional Hospital she specialized in the field of endoscopy attaining her membership in the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates in 1998. This was her area of work at the time of her death. She always had the biggest heart and first and foremost the patients care was the most important thing in her life.
She was preceded in death by her father Orville D. Hunt and mother, Flora Mozelle Hunt.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Kenneth Esadooah; brothers, Ralph Hunt and wife Elaina, Ron Hunt and wife Patsy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leroy and Betty Esadooah; brother-in-law, Kevin Esadooah; nephews, Bryan Hunt and Jeff Hunt and his Karen and their two sons, Jackson and Jefferson; niece, Shawnell Green and her husband David and their two sons, Chanson and Mason Green.
