NORMAN — Frances Jane (Christy) Paulk, 81, passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, in Norman.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Westside Church of Christ, 726 McGee, in Norman. Arrangements are by Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.

Frances was born Nov. 9, 1931, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Benjamin Franklin Christy and Ada Mae Clothier. She had several nicknames: Sister, GG, Piecake, Grandma and Nana.

Frances graduated from Hutchinson High School and attended Oklahoma Christian College in Bartlesville. She spent her early years in Kansas and in 1967 she moved to Oklahoma. She worked in a secretarial capacity at Kress Department Store, Phillips Petroleum, Sears and the Northside Church of Christ in Wichita, Kan., and the Westside Church of Christ in Norman. Frances enjoyed china painting, sewing, flower gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Frances is survived by one son, Larry Paulk and his wife, Angel, of Goldsby; three daughters, Anita Dunn and her husband, Jim, of Cashion, Rita Torneten and her husbandk Billk of Norman and Shari Quintana and her husband, Jorge, of Allen, Texas; one sister, Donna Petty of Enid; nine grandchildren, Brian Dunn, April Wood and her husband, Dane, Sarah Janssen and her husband, Elliot, Joe Dunn, Lisa Torneten, Zachary Paulk and his fiancee, Kelli, Lacey Paulk, Sean Quintana and Evan Quintana; four great-grandchilden, Blaine, Briley, Bristol and Adlee.
