Patricia “Patsy” Jo Ellis

NORMAN — Patricia “Patsy” Jo Ellis, 80, of Green Mountain, Colo., passed away at her home on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.

She will be laid to rest in Noble. An interment date is pending.

Patsy was born Aug. 5, 1932, to Ruth and Walter Blalock in Noble.

After playing varsity basketball and graduating from Noble High School, she became an executive secretary for Gilt Edge Dairy in Norman, where she met and married Don Ellis.

She was married to Don for 57 years. She had lived in Europe, and enjoyed travelling, reading, fine art and walking. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and was a Bible school teacher for children for many years. Her fun and loving nature will be missed by all her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Don; son Steven and his wife, Nancy; a grandson, Austin; a granddaughter, Jacey; and brothers, Bennie Blalock of Washington and Glen Blalock of Midlothian, Texas.
