Robert ‘Bob’ Louis Irwin

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Robert “Bob” Louis Irwin, Jr. passed away Feb. 22, 2013. Born in Dallas on May 15, 1963, Bob graduated from Norman High School in 1981, and Oklahoma University in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Journalism.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Robert Irwin, Sr., and is survived by his mother, Linda Langston, his brother, Chris Irwin, his step mother Phyllis Irwin, three step sisters, Cheryl Lassiter, Cindy Hildebrand and Susie Hyman and an extensive list of friends who cherished his friendship.

One of Bob’s favorite things was spending time with the two loves of his life, his dogs Sheila and Charlie. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Norman Animal Welfare Center at P.O. Box 370, Norman, OK, 73070.
