Vina Pearl Mattox

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Vina Pearl Mattox, 73, of Noble, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013. She was born May 18, 1939, in Franklin to Russell & Paula (Dollar) Mattox.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Lilac Hills Memorial Gardens in Moore.

Vina proudly served her country in the U.S. Marines. She enjoyed spending her time gardening and planting flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Mattox.

Vina is survived by two sisters, Yolonda Suttle and husband David and Susie Bass and husband Dean; six nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and nephews.

Arrangements for Vina and her family have been placed in the care of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel in Moore.
