NORMAN — Lonnie Wayne Burton, 65, from Norman, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in Ocean Springs, Miss.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Park chapel, 2301 E. Indian Hills in Norman. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
He was born Sept. 17, 1947, in Anadarko to Albert Waine “Buster” Burton and Aline Ruth Burton. He attended Norman High School. He lived in Norman until moving to Mississippi in 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Sharon Kay Mann and Shirley Ann Burton.
He is survived by her two sisters, Lanell Layne Wood and husband Robert Carroll Wood of Dallas and Evelyn Aline Harper and husband Joseph Allen Pinto of Ocean Springs, Miss.; his stepmom, Ollie Burton of Alabama; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Lonnie Wayne Burton held dearest to his heart his constant and steadfast friend, Dachshund Fancy.
Services have been entrusted to the care of Primrose Funeral Service.
