Raymond Delbert Burleson

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Raymond Delbert Burleson was born to Delbert and Louise (Sanders) Burleson on July 26, 1939, in Rosedale.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at Noble IOOF Cemetery. Rev. Bud Wolf will officiate.

He graduated from the Rosedale High School. He made Noble his home for 46 years, moving from Norman. He was a roofing contractor until his retirement. He married Ann Brogdon in 1995, and they made their home south of Noble until his death. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children, Iola Sue Finch.

Those who survive him include his wife, Ann of the home; two sons, Dale Burleson and wife Brenda of Lexington and Kevin Burleson of Noble; three stepsons, Jamie O’Bryant and wife Kristy of Pauls Valley, Terry and wife Diana of Ada and David and wife Arletta of Elmore City; one daughter, Christina Davis and husband Scott of Piedmont; three brothers, Paul Burleson of Tecumseh, Mark King of Norman and Mike King of Lexington; two sisters, Corinne Cline of Norman and Barbara Wilson and husband Roger; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by McMahans Funeral Home in Noble.
