The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Juanita Greenwood, 93, of Norman, was born Dec. 10, 1919, to John Madison and Sarah May (Bowerman) Yates in Phillips. She left this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, in Noble.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Primrose chapel, with burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

In 1936, she married Andrew K. Greenwood in Norman. Juanita enjoyed being a homemaker. She spent most of her days rejoicing the Lord and manicuring her flower beds.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Andrew K. Greenwood; seven siblings; and a grandson, Victor Wiggins.

She is survived by a sister, Ermine Anderson of California; four children, Joyce Wiggins and her husband Freddy of Norman, LaWanda Wiggins and her husband Ronald of Quinton, Dwight Greenwood of Norman and Nora Mae Blakley and husband Hank of Norman; 15 grandchildren; and a multitude of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Primrose Funeral Service.
