NORMAN — James R. Maxwell, born to Robert C. and Ruth Maxwell Jr. on March 24, 1952, passed from this life Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at 60 years of age. Jim grew up and attended school in Pauls Valley and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA.

A memorial gathering will from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Pauls Valley First Presbyterian Church in the basement.

In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in Jim’s honor to the charity of your choice.
