NORMAN — Charles Ernest “Chuck” Cates Jr., 53, of Noble passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Maguire Baptist Church in Slaughterville with pastor Mike Robertson officiating.

Chuck was born in Glendale, Ariz., and had lived in Noble most of his adult life.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Cates; children, Ashley Cates and Chas Cates, both of Noble, Christina Cates King of Florida; his mother, Lillian Cates of Nebraska; brother, Scott Allen Cates of Nebraska; sisters, Vicky Lynn Dollason and Sheila Ann James, both of Nebraska; and many nephews, nieces, stepchildren and great-grandchilren.

Memorials contributions may be sent to the church.
