Patricia Ann Smith

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Patricia Ann Smith, 80, of Norman, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She was born Dec. 23, 1932, to Robert and Ethel Clements in Cushing, where she grew up and attended school.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Faith 4 Life Church, 1019 24th Ave. SW in Norman.

She later attended Oklahoma A&M for a year and a half. After college, she moved to Bartlesville and married Lloyd Lyle Smith in 1954. After moving around from state to state, she came to Oklahoma City. In 1984, Lloyd and Pat moved to Norman, where they resided.

Pat worked at the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History as a director’s assistant for 12 years. Her hobbies included reading and visiting her friends at the apartments with her Chihuahua, Callie, who she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ethel Clements, and her sister, Louise Meeker.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Lu Myers and husband Thomas of Norman; grandchildren Daniel Myers and wife Rebecca, Michael Myers, Sarah Myers, Andrew Myers, Joseph Myers and Philip Myers of Norman; and great-grandchild, Isaiah Myers of Casco, Maine.
