NORMAN — Harold Ray Davis Jr., 55, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Thunderbird Clubhouse, 1251 Triad Village Drive in Norman.

Harold was born Sept. 14, 1957, in Omaha, Neb. He moved to Norman more than 20 years ago. Harold was a very familiar sight around Campus Corner. His favorite places included the Pita Pit, Starbucks and Pickleman’s.

Harold was most known for his love of music. He was always wearing a small personal radio or MP3 player. He loved artwork and often carried a bag full of pens and markers. His art was occassionally entered into art shows and it sold.

Harold had recently moved to Texas to be closer to his sister, Linda, and her husband Ray Burris. Harold was loved and respected in our community. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by sister, Dororthy Prestwood.

Harold is survived by his sisters Linda Carter, Vicki Copeland, Charlotte Russel, Sandy Mange-Holt, Pam Patten, Michelle Tragelia and Barbara Davis; brothers Don Davis and Howard Davis; and many brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
