NORMAN — Helen M. Donald, 79, of Sheboygan, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Aurora Medical Center in Milwaukee.

A family gathering will be hosted at a later date.

Helen was born May 4, 1933, in Afton, Iowa, to Ivan and Opal Conn. Married in 1951 to Robert C. Donald, they moved to several cities during their early years, including Sheboygan, Wis., where they raised three children, and settling in Norman, where they raised three grandchildren. Through her years, Helen delved into her passion of quilting, thoroughly enjoying the quilting clubs she was involved in.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Donald; daughter, Terri Erickson; grandson, Michael Thiel; brothers, sisters and parents.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann Thiel of Fond du Lac; son, Jeffery Donald of Fort Worth, Texas; son-in-law, Robert Erickson of Cascade; grandchildren Rebecca (Jeremy) Vanderloop of Mayville, Nicole Donald of Fort Worth, Texas, and Shawn Donald and Jamie Donald, both of Sheboygan; three great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Conn; sister, Marion Wynn; and other relatives and friends.

Uecker-Witt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
