Joffa JJ Kerr

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Joffa JJ Kerr, age 55, of Oklahoma City, passed away of natural causes at her home in Oklahoma City on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012. Her parents are Joffa Kerr and W.G. Kerr, of Wilson, Wyo.

A memorial service was hosted Oct. 30 with family and friends “at home” in Oklahoma City.

JJ graduated from Norman High School and the Minneapolis Fashion Institute. She resided in Minneapolis for a number of years and worked for the Cargill Companies, Century 21 Real Estate and Wyoming Outfitters of Edina, Minn.

JJ was preceded in death by her twin brother, David Kenworthy Kerr, in 1972.

She is survived by her parents and sisters Kavar Kerr of Jackson, Wyo., and Mara Kerr of Carmel, Calif., as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews in Oklahoma and Texas.

Her family has requested any memorials honoring JJ be contributed to: Sooner Chapter, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 3908 N. Peniel, Suite 330, Bethany, OK 73008.

Final arrangements for JJ have been made by Hahn-Cook/Street and Draper in Oklahoma City.
