NORMAN — Gordon Rentfro, 84, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 in Norman. He was born Nov. 15, 1927 in Clayton, New Mexico to Emmitt and Ann (Baird) Rentfro.

He was united in marriage to Bette Ann Isaacs on June 1, 2000.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Bette Rentfro; son Dru Rentfro and wife Keri of Harrisburg, North Carolina; three stepchildren, Greg Wynn and wife Donna and their three children, Hailey, Morgan and Charlie of Norman, Geoff Wynn and wife Karen and their three children, Winston, Alex and Max of Norman and Penny Meier and her husband Jamie and their son, Harrison of Georgetown, Ohio; brother, Carl Rentfro of Bradenton, Florida; sister, Joyce Holcomb of Clayton, New Mexico; grandson, Derek Rentfro of Grand Junction, Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Rentfro in March of 2000.

Gordon served his country in the United States Army Reserve and owned and operated Gordon’s Body Shop for 40 years in Clayton, New Mexico.
