NORMAN — Former Norman resident, Stacey Renae Nicks, 39, of Rio Rancho, NM passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born Jan. 18, 1973, to Robbie Hushbeck (mother) and Jodie Pennington (father) in Longview, Texas. A graduated of South Garland High School in Garland Texas, Stacey moved to Norman in 1991 to attend the University of Oklahoma where she met her husband. Stacey and Jake were married June 18, 1994.

Stacey is survived by her husband, Jake Nicks of the home; four daughters, Taylor ,17, Brittany, 15, Allison, 13, Haley, 9; her mother, Robbie Hushbeck and stepfather, “Papa” Charlie Hushbeck; mother-in-law, Anita Nicks; nieces and nephews, Kaleigh and Chelsea Key, Jordan Nicks, Austin, Mathew, and Autumn Mallory; brothers-in-law, Jeff Nicks and Dustin Mallory; sister-in-law, Tylina Nicks; she is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 at the Alameda Baptist Church, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park.

There will be a viewing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Primrose Funeral Service.

A Memorial Candlelight Service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Daniels Funeral Home on Sara Road in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
