Ethel Grace Weidenmaier

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Services for Ethel Grace Weidenmaier, 103, of Norman, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Primrose chapel, with burial at Moore City Cemetery.

Mrs. Weidenmaier was born May 9, 1909, in Cleveland County near Moore to George H. and Anna L. Smith. She attended school in Moore and, after graduation from high school in 1926, she attended Draughn Business College. She married Louis B. Weidenmaier on Jan. 21, 1928.

Mrs. Weidenmaier was a member of the First Christian Church in Norman and the Study and Share Sunday school class. She liked to go fishing and camping. She enjoyed travel and, for a number of years, traveled with the Christian Fellowship Tour Group of Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, a brother and four sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Sarchet and her husband Richard of Norman; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Primrose Funeral Service.
